    The City of St. Petersburg is accepting results for Fire Fighter EMT and Fire Fighter Paramedic to establish an eligibility list. In this first step of the process, applicants must achieve a passing score on the Fire Team and Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). This is accomplished through the National Testing Network (NTN). See the NTN link below.

    Salary Information:
    Firefighter/EMT - $37,504 - $58,641 (top pay) based on 2704 hrs. annually.

    St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue and is a proud organization made up of 30 pieces of firefighting apparatus, 12 fire stations and employs a total staff of 345 personnel. St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue responds to a high volume of fire suppression and emergency medical calls. Our A, B and C shifts work 24-hours on duty and 48 hours off. The department also responds to other types of incidents through specialized teams which include a Technical Rescue Team, Hazardous Materials Team, and a Dive and Marine Rescue Team.

    St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue is proud to be an internationally accredited agency by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International.     Ability to Read and Speak the English Language
    Candidate Testing For this position, candidates must achieve a passing score on the video-based FireTEAM test at National Testing Network.
