Group Founder & Coach Lynn Gray, an experienced marathoner and RRCA certified coach has been an age group winner for over 30 years, is your coach. My experience includes over 45 years of long-distance running and over 90 marathons. I specialize in the long-term goals of marathon and half marathon distances. I develop fitness programs to support reshaping and reducing through vigorous plyometrics, spinning, and weight training. I also coach and give workouts for walkers who aspire to become a jogger or speedwalker and provide the skills which will give them the aerobic ability and muscular strength to participate in fitness goals such as 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathon and marathon distances. Currently I am the trainer for such races as the Miles for Moffitt and the Women's Half Marathon/5K event.

Take ...The First Step offers physical fitness programs which supports the female and male participant who want a permanent plan of aerobic exercise which fits their lifestyle. We have aerobic programs which support walking, jogging, speedwalking, distance running, and integrative running programs for the triathlete. Our Core and More(c) - a boot camp for women, develops both aerobic and muscular strength to support athletic goals, weight loss, and body reshaping. Lastly, we offer yoga and tai chi classes to enhance balance, posture, muscular strength, and relaxation.
